Capital of Tech: Nordic Readiness and the Future of AI
05 mars 2025
12.00–13.00
Regeringsgatan 29, Stockholm
In recent years rapid advancements and widespread democratisation of generative artificial intelligence have pushed society into the next technological revolution - presenting many exciting opportunities. However, this new territory is difficult to navigate given the risks of over versus under regulation, alongside an increasingly fast rate of development. In the race to stay ahead where does Sweden stand and what should the Nordics do as a collective to better prepare for the future?
AI could help increase Sweden’s annual GDP by SEK 500 billion in ten years given the right investments and adoption, according to an Implement Consulting Group study commissioned by Google. This, and more on the potential for innovative businesses will be presented in a new report, alongside discussions examining the readiness of Sweden, the Nordics and what is needed to strengthen the region’s global position as a hub for AI development.
Organised in collaboration with Google, this event is part of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce’s ongoing series Capital of Tech, which aims to cover the latest developments within the tech sector and highlight how Stockholm can continue to build a resilient ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation.
