Capital of Tech: Thriving or Surviving?

26 september 2024
12.00–13.00

Regeringsgatan 29, Stockholm

Stockholm is known for being one of the leading tech cities in Europe and has a strong global brand as a unicorn factory. But is this success felt by startups and scaleups working within the tech sector? If not, what would make their experience better? And where does the responsibility lie when it comes to creating the best conditions for highly driven companies to thrive?

These questions make up the basis for a new report to be released by the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce on September 26th. During this lunch seminar we will share results from, among other insights, a survey comparing tech ecosystems in various leading innovation hubs around the world and what Stockholm can take away from their experiences to build a stronger, more supportive local environment for startups and scaleups.

Following the presentation of these results we will hear from experts working to improve the conditions for Sweden’s tech sector as well as representatives from abroad working to strengthen their country’s tech sector in Sweden and what sort of challenges they have faced or overcome.

Doors will open for registration and lunch from 11:30, and the program will start at 12:00.
