Capital of Tech: Thriving or Surviving?
Stockholm is known for being one of the leading tech cities in Europe and has a strong global brand as a unicorn factory. But is this success felt by startups and scaleups working within the tech sector? If not, what would make their experience better? And where does the responsibility lie when it comes to creating the best conditions for highly driven companies to thrive?
These questions make up the basis for the newly released report ”Tech for tomorrow –Stockholm’s ranking in the global tech race”. During this lunch seminar we will share results from, among other insights, a survey comparing tech ecosystems in various leading innovation hubs around the world and what Stockholm can take away from their experiences to build a stronger, more supportive local environment for startups and scaleups.
Following the presentation of these results experts working to improve the conditions for Sweden’s tech sector share their insights, as well as representatives from abroad working to strengthen their country’s tech sector in Sweden. What sort of challenges they have faced or overcome?
