
Andrew Bowie
Elected as Member of Parliament for West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine in 2017, Andrew Bowie served as the UK’s first-ever Minister for Nuclear in the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero until July 2024.
In 2019, Bowie was appointed Parliamentary Private Secretary to the then Prime Minister, Theresa May. He subsequently worked as the Conservative Party Vice Chairman (2019-2021), and served as Minister for Exports at the Department for International Trade (Oct 2022-Feb 2023). Until July 2024, he served as the Minister for Nuclear and Renewables.
Since November 2024 he has has served as Shadow Secretary of State for Scotland.
