

Anko van der Werff
Anko van der Werff assumed the role as a Chief Executive Officer at SAS in July 2021. Prior to joining SAS, Anko was the Chief Executive Office of Avianca Holdings in Colombia.
From 2014 to 2019, Anko was the Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Grupo Aeromexico in Mexico. From 2010 to 2014, he was the Senior Vice President in Pricing and Revenue Management in Qatar Airways.
This is Anko’s second period during his career in Sweden. Between 2005 and 2009, he was placed in Stockholm as a Regional Manager Sweden, Finland & Baltics at Air France – KLM.
Additionally, Anko is the Chairman of the Danish Climate Partnership, and a member of IATA Board of Governors.
Anko holds a law degree from Leiden University in the Netherlands, and an executive degree from Harvard Business School. Anko is Dutch native, fluent in English and Spanish.
