Morten Albæk
Morten Albæk is a philosopher, founder & CEO of the consulting firm Voluntās, which has more than 100 employees spread across offices in: Tunis, Copenhagen, Mumbai, Oslo, San Francisco, Beirut, Munich, Nairobi and Kyiv.
From 2002 to 2008, Morten worked at Danske Bank, ultimately serving as SVP for Customer Insights & Innovation. From 2009 to 2015, he was the Chief Marketing Officer at the wind power giant Vestas. Fast Company has named him one of the world’s 1,000 most creative businesspeople, and from 2008 to 2019 he was adjunct professor and co-founder of the world’s first Institute for Applied Philosophy at Aalborg University.
Morten is the author of several books and probably the most read Danish philosopher in the 21st Century. His authorship includes the award-winning ’Ét liv, én tid, ét menneske’ (English version: ‘One Life’), which has sold over 125,000 copies in Denmark and has been translated and distributed in 11 countries. His most recent book ’Falske sandheder i livet’ (The False Truths we live by) immediately topped the bestseller lists and will be published internationally.
Morten has three children and lives near Aarhus in Denmark.
