Stig Ørskov
Stig Ørskov is CEO of JP/Politiken Media Group, one of the Nordic region’s leading media organisations. He also serves as incoming CEO of WAN-IFRA.
Under his leadership, the group has expanded beyond Denmark into Norway, Sweden, Germany and the UK, with operations spanning national news brands, niche media, book publishing, streaming services and Denmark’s largest distribution network. He previously held roles as COO, Editor-in-Chief and Business Editor at Politiken, and began his career as a business journalist and media entrepreneur.
Ørskov holds a degree in Public Economics and Regulation from Roskilde University and has co-authored several books, including a bestselling biography of shipping magnate Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller.
