Trine Eilertsen
Trine Eilertsen was appointed editor-in-chief and CEO of Aftenposten in 2020, one of Norway’s largest and most influential media houses founded in 1860.
She is also a member of the executive management group at Schibsted. Previously, she served as Political Editor at Aftenposten from 2014, has worked as a political commentator at the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, and held the position of Publisher at Bergens Tidende.
Eilertsen holds a Master of Science in Business from the Norwegian School of Economics and a master’s is degree in Comparative Politics from the University of Bergen.
She is also a board member of the International Press Institute, a press freedom organisation, and sits on the European board at the International News Media Association.
