Dalia Grybauskaitė
Dalia Grybauskaitė served as President of Lithuania from 2009 to 2019. During her two terms in office, she focused on strengthening Lithuania’s economic resilience and emphasised national and regional security. She welcomed a NATO battle group to Lithuania as part of the Alliance’s enhanced forward presence.
Prior to her presidency, Grybauskaitė served as Lithuania’s Minister of Finance and as European Union Commissioner for Financial Programming and Budget.
Since leaving office, she continues to speak widely on energy security, transatlantic relations, geopolitical security, sustainable development, economic transparency and accountability, and women’s leadership. She serves on a number of advisory boards and commissions.
