Geir Karlsen
Geir Karlsen has served as Chief Executive Officer of Norwegian since June 2021. Having previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer and served as Acting Chief Executive Officer, he brings extensive experience in financial leadership and corporate management.
Before joining Norwegian, Karlsen held several senior financial roles in international listed companies within the shipping and offshore industries. He served as Group Chief Financial Officer at London-based Navig8 Group, one of the world’s largest shipping pool and commercial management companies, and has also held CFO positions at companies including Golden Ocean Group and Songa Offshore.
Karlsen holds a degree in Business Administration from BI Norwegian Business School.
