Jyrki Katainen
Jyrki Katainen has served as Head of Group Public and Regulatory Affairs at Nordea at Nordea since 2023.
Prior to joining Nordea, he was President of the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra, where he focused on climate policy, the circular economy and digital transformation. He previously held several of Europe’s most senior political leadership positions, serving as Vice-President of the European Commission for Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitiveness from 2014 to 2019, following terms as Prime Minister of Finland from 2011 to 2014 and Minister of Finance from 2007 to 2011.
Katainen holds a Master of Social Sciences and has played a key role in shaping European economic, investment and competitiveness policies.
