Lawen Redar
Lawen Redar is the Swedish Social Democratic Party’s spokesperson on migration and integration policy. A Member of the Swedish Parliament since 2015, she has previously served as the party’s spokesperson on culture and media policy and as Third Vice Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Cultural Affairs.
Before entering national politics, Redar worked at Save the Children Sweden and the Stockholm City Mission. She holds a law degree from Stockholm University and has focused throughout her political career on issues relating to integration, social cohesion, criminal justice and democratic resilience.
