Magnus Heunicke
Magnus Heunicke has served as Denmark’s Minister for Education since 2026. He has been a member of the Danish Parliament since 2005 and has held several senior ministerial positions, including Minister for Health, Minister for the Environment and Minister for Transport. He also represents Denmark’s Social Democratic Party.
Before entering politics, Heunicke worked as a journalist at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR). Throughout his political career, he has been engaged in issues relating to education, public services, infrastructure, health and environmental policy.
