Micael Johansson
Micael Johansson is President and CEO of the Swedish defence and security company Saab AB, a role he assumed in October 2019.
Since 2023, he has served as Vice Chairman of the Board of ASD – the Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe.
With nearly 40 years of experience in engineering, sensor systems and defence, Johansson has held key leadership positions across Saab’s organisation.
Prior to becoming CEO, he served as Senior Executive Vice President and Deputy CEO. Earlier, he was Senior Vice President and Head of Business Area Surveillance, with responsibility for Saab’s operations in radar, electronic warfare, command and control, and traffic management systems.
Johansson holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Uppsala University.
