Roberto Maiorana
Roberto Maiorana has served as Director-General of the Swedish Transport Administration since 2022. He leads one of Sweden’s largest public agencies, responsible for the long-term planning, development and management of the country’s transport infrastructure.
Prior to his current role, Maiorana served as Executive Director of Traffic Management at the Swedish Transport Administration. Before joining the agency, he held several senior leadership positions within the aviation industry, including CEO of SAS Ground Handling Sweden and Vice President of SAS Customer Contact Center.
Throughout his career, Maiorana has held senior leadership positions across the aviation and transport sectors, spanning both public and private organisations. His experience includes operational management, customer services and transport infrastructure.
