Vincent F. Hendricks
Vincent F. Hendricks is Professor of Formal Philosophy and Director of the Center for Information and Bubble Studies (CIBS) at the University of Copenhagen. His research focuses on information and democracy, bubble studies, formal epistemology and the philosophy of science.
Hendricks has been Professor of Formal Philosophy at the University of Copenhagen since 2009, following a professorship at Roskilde University. His international academic experience includes visiting professorships at Boston University, the University of Texas at El Paso, Tsinghua University in Beijing and Indiana University.
Throughout his career, Hendricks has received several awards for his research and academic work, including Denmark’s Elite Research Prize in 2008 and the Rosenkjær Prize in 2016. He holds a PhD in philosophy and logic from the University of Copenhagen and a higher doctoral degree, dr.phil., from the same university.
